Migration in Europe: Social, Economic, Cultural and Policy Dynamics

NORFACE – New Opportunities for Research Funding Co-operation Agency in Europe, is a network of 15 national research funding organisations in Europe and Canada, co-operating since beginning of 2004.

The fourth Norface Conference "Migration: Global Development, New Frontiers" will bring together more than 500 scholars from subject areas such as: Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Demography, Anthropology, Education, Geography, Political Science, Development Studies.

Besides the paper and poster presentations of the open conference, the programme includes Special Sessions featuring Policy Events, as well as Academic Keynote and Invited speeches.

The conference is co-funded by the European Union and the NORFACE Migration Programme.

A large interdisciplinary conference on "Migration: Economic Change, Social Challenge" was held from 6th - 9th April 2011, which was co-funded by the European Union and the NORFACE Migration Programme. This academic conference brought together about 300 scholars from subject areas such as: Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Demography, Anthropology, Education, Geography, Political Science, Development Studies.
