Norface Migration Network Conference on "Migration: Economic Change, Social Challenge"

A large interdisciplinary conference on "Migration: Economic Change, Social Challenge" was held from 6th - 9th April 2011, which was co-funded by the European Union and the NORFACE Migration Programme. This academic conference brought together about 300 scholars from subject areas such as: Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Demography, Anthropology, Education, Geography, Political Science, Development Studies.

Georges Borjas, David Card, Jack Citrin, Douglas Massey, David McKenzie, Xin Meng, Ça─člar Özden, Alejandro Portes, Mark Rosenzweig, Marcelo Suarez-Orozco, Mary Waters, Yoram Weiss and Andeas Wimmer gave inivited and keynote lectures.

This conference was part of a series of events, over a period of 1 week, being co-organised by CReAM, NORFACE Research Programme on Migration and UCL Grand Challenges.
